Princeton Education Foundation Board of Advisors
Kristin Appelget is Princeton University’s Director of Community and Regional Affairs. Kristin joined the staff at Princeton in the spring of 2006. As Director of Community and Regional Affairs, Kristin is responsible for managing relations with the local communities in which the University resides. Prior to working at Princeton, Kristin was the President and CEO of the Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce, and was an elected official in her hometown of West Windsor, New Jersey. Kristin is a currently a resident of Robbinsville, New Jersey, and is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame with a B.A. in Government with a concentration in Public Policy.
James M. Beslity
Jim is Vice President and Assistant General Counsel, Human Resources and Chief Privacy Officer for Bristol-Myers Squibb Company. Prior to joining Bristol-Myers Squibb in 1982, Jim worked as a trial attorney for the Civil Division of the Legal Aid Society in New York City. He received his A.B. degree, cum laude, from Harvard College and his J.D. from the Boston University School of Law. Jim is married to Sandy Beslity, a real estate agent for Callaway Henderson Sotheby’s International Realty in Princeton. They are the proud parents of James and Justin, both whom are graduates of Princeton Public Schools, and Joslen, who currently attends Princeton High School.
A former Princeton Township Mayor and former Princeton School Board member, Gail is a Broker Associate at Gloria Nilson Realtors. She is a draduate of Princeton University (Ph.D. Psychology), and Bucknell (psychology-French), as well as a past president of the New Jersey Association For Elected Women Officials. All three of her children attended Princeton schools.
Raoul Momo is a restauranteur in Princeton, NJ. A founding member of the Terra Momo Group, Raoul owns and operates several restaurants in the Princeton area that focus on serving food which is locally grown and raised. Raoul has been the recipient of several awards related to his active community involvement. Raoul and his wife reside in Princeton with their 3 sons who attend the Princeton and Hopewell Valley Public Schools.
Georgeanne Gould Moss
Georgeanne Gould Moss is a managing director-investments for Wells Fargo Advisors in Princeton and has been in the securities industry since 1988. She received her B.A. from Barnard College, Columbia University, and a Juris Doctor from Benjamin Cardozo School of Law in Manhattan. She began her legal career as an associate at a Connecticut law firm and then worked as a senior attorney specializing in litigation, securities compliance and derivative products at a major brokerage firm. Georgeanne has served as a legal intern to the Governor of New York. In addition to her work with the PEF, Georgeanne also serves on the board of the National Committee for the Performing Arts of the John F Kennedy Center of the Performing Arts (NCPA). Georgeanne and her husband, Peter, reside in Princeton with their two sons.
Formerly a builder and developer of active adult communities in central New Jersey, Ross is also the founding director of First Washington State Bank which was sold to Fulton Bank of Lancaster, PA, as well as a founding director of The Bank of Princeton. Ross currently serves as chairperson of the Princeton Human Services Commission, a local government entity, and as Treasurer of the Princeton Municipal Democratic Committee.
Superintendent, Princeton Public Schools
Stephen Cochrane began serving as the Superintendent of the Princeton Public Schools on January 1, 2014. Prior to beginning at Princeton, he was the assistant superintendent for curriculum and instruction at Upper Freehold Regional School District. A graduate of Princeton University who earned his master’s degree in education at Harvard University, Cochrane began a 23-year career in public education as an elementary school teacher in South Brunswick Public Schools.
